Carla is third of the seven Carter kids. She is now living in Kampala, Uganda with her husband, Al Kehler, and their three daughters: Katherine (15), Elisabeth (13), and Olivia (9). Al works with the UN World Food Programme. Carla takes care of family and volunteers with church, school and community. The open air vegetable stalls in Uganda remind Carla of summers spent selling sweet corn and tomatoes at the "Red Wagon."
