I live with my wife Lori in the Des Moines, Iowa vicinity where I work for Pioneer Hi-Bred International as North America Sr. Agronomy Sciences Manager. Like me, Lori still regards the Park Rapids area as her home, even though she went to high school in southern Minnesota. Her parents had a cabin on Lake Belle Taine for more than 30 years and she spent most of her summers there growing up. Her first experience with Carter's was picking strawberries at the farm with her family in the 1960s!
Lori and I have a place on Lake Belle Taine next to the place her parents owned and we both enjoy spending as much time as possible there.
Son Andrew is a Captain in the Army and is stationed at Ft. Hood Texas. He finished his second deployment in Iraq in January and is engaged to be married to Erin Ness in August, 2009.
Mary Joy and her husband Jim have also moved to Texas, where Jim is a JAG officer (attorney) at Fort Hood. Jim deployed to Iraq in January.
Carrie is concluding her second year at Bethel University, where she is pursuing a major in English Literature and Writing.
